Desctiption

The logo is directly connected to the client’s name and purpose. As Beehive aims to be not only a place where one would be able to upload their CV but also a social media or a “hive” for same minded people we decided to use the hexagon element as a thing that refers to a piece of the hive. In addition to this, we wanted to point out the unique thing that Beehive has – the video CV. This is why we implemented the “play button” element in the hexagon. It is our view that the overall design we have achieved is informative enough, engaging for the audience, friendly and in the same time referring to the brand’s name and main purpose.

It was a decision of our design team to change the corporate colors in order for Beehive to be able to stand out from the competition and be memorable. Moreover, other social media and similar platforms usually use more formal and cold colors but it is our view that the latter do not radiate friendliness and openness. This overall feeling that the orange and yellow give will help reach a wider auditory and give them the needed friendliness so that everyone would be open minded enough to try the platform without the concern that they might do something wrong. The rounded font and shapes help achieve this overall feeling as well.
